Dear Richard, Thank you very much for this information! I really did not know where to start on finding out what the bayonet was, or the value of it. I was sort of going by some others listed on eBay as a guide, but couldn't find any similar to this one. Thank you again, Guy Dunn

Hello, Thanks for all the information about this bayonet. We don't really have a knowledge about this kind of stuff. We are more into glass and china. But we like cool stuffs and antiques like this bayonet. Is it okey if I add some of the information to my description. Thanks again, Rose

Brazilian M1904 Parade Bayonet (Made in Belgium)

Richard--Wow!! Talk about someone who knows their stuff!! Thanks a million, I really, really appreciate the information. Went to the web site and there it was. No one has been able to tell me what it was, or what it was worth. Just curious if you know what value it really is? If I'm overpriced, I'll lower it, if I'm underpriced, someone could get a good deal! Your help was well appreciated. Larry Wagner

Pre WW I Bayonet Springfield

Thank you very much for the information! I have a lot to learn when it comes to military items. These items belonged to my grandfather, he brought them back from WW II. I will save your email links for future reference. Again thanks for taking the time to help!! Indy-pam

Dear Richard, I want to thank you for taking the time to contact me about this bayonet. No one had bid on it yet, and you have been the only one to contact me in regards to it. I purchased it for $20 years ago, at a roadside import tool sale, because I liked the quality of it. I have decided to take it off e-bay for the time being. To tell you the truth, it seemed too modern in design, and in too good of condition to be any where near age that your information puts it. I thought perhaps it was made 1950s or 60's. I would have thought any built pre WW2 would be bulky with wood grips ect. If I had known how old it was, I doubt if I would have put it up for auction at all. I enjoy having little pieces of history laying around, I am sure you do as well. I still may sell it at some point, but if the market value is only in the 30.00 range, I might get that much enjoyment from owning it, (now that I know what it is). This I owe entirely to you. Many Thanks, Dan Christopher
WWI Bayonet by Weyersberg Kirchbaum

Thank you!!!! I think you nailed it. Everything you wrote seems to be true. The RA on the scabbard end (the ball I think you called it). The grounding off that I mentioned in the bid could be where the Argentine insignia was. Thank you. If this auction was not closing shortly I would add the copy you sent to it, but...... Thanks again J
